Toy Fair 2011: BrickStix
Wednesday, February 16, 2011

BrickStix are a new, innovative accessory for the classic building bricks that all children love. Kids can customize their brick creations with dozens of wonderful reusable stickers that cling to smooth side of each piece. They are a brand new, independent company headed by an enthusiastic mom and dad who helped realize their son Greyson's idea.

Greyson loved playing with his building brick sets, but was frustrated by the permanency of the stickers provided in the sets. He wanted to tell stories beyond what the standard pieces offered. What he really wanted was removable decals so he wasn't limited in his construction.

Greyson's mom and dad worked together with his aunt and uncle to develop a line of clinging sticker decals with awesome designs that are removable, reusable and restickable. They currently come in three awesome themes: space, metro and transport with many more to follow.

Because they are stickers, they're great for practicing those finer motor skills needed for finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination and acquiring a steady hand. Kids will be able to create whatever narratives they choose. BrickStix make the perfect addition to any brick construction set you may have at home.

BrickStix are made in the USA. We placed an order with BrickStix today, and you'll be able to pick them up soon at either aMuse Toys location. We'll let you know via our Facebook & Twitter pages when they arrive. Here's a video that illustrates how cool they are!

Jack is standing by my side as I am reading this post. He has declared that these are really cool & would like a set for his legos. He even volunteered to spend "his" money. That is always the sign of something great!
Whoa. That's huge! Greyson is going to love that Jack is excited about his idea. Greyson's mom said that he's going to read this post when he gets off school today...
