Quality and longevity are synonymous with all things HABA, so it’s no surprise that HABA’s Mummy’s Treasure, has already won numerous awards in the toy industry. It’s quickly become a customer favorite because of its clever balance between strategy and luck.
Join in on an Egyptian archaeological dig, and be the best treasure hunter in the world! In Mummy’s Treasure you will search for gold coins, valuable vases and other unique artifacts of the famous Pharaoh Teubernus.

Each game contains five wooden treasure dice, four excavation sites and 48 treasure tiles. The goal is to be the first player to successfully fill your excavation site with treasures. To start, sort and pile the treasure tiles according to their sizes in the center of the table. There are six different treasure tile sizes in all. After you’ve organized the pieces, the youngest player gets to roll all five treasure dice first.

Once the dice are rolled, the player must compare the symbols on the dice with the treasure tiles on top of each pile in the center of the table. Each tile shows one to four symbols. In order to receive a tile, your dice must show all of the corresponding symbols on the piece.
Players can roll the dice up to three times and are allowed to put treasures aside if they’re attempting to collect a certain piece. If you don’t roll any of the treasures on the treasure tiles during your turn, you pass the dice along and hope for better luck in the next round.

If you’ve collected a tile, you can position it anywhere on your excavation site as long as it lays appropriately within the grid. Take care when placing your tile, because once you lay it down, it must stay where it is. The first player to fill all of the squares in their excavation site with treasure tiles wins the game!
To adjust skill level for younger players, allow them to move their treasure tiles after they’ve been placed. Mummy’s Treasure is a great dice rolling game of strategy for 2-4 players ages 5-99!
