At aMuse, we strive to find the world’s most beautiful and purposeful playthings. For the next few weeks we are taking our readers on a tour of award-winning toys from around the world.

Australian artist, Julian Meagher studied industrial design in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1996 he began his professional career in Great Britain working closely with designer Tom Karen of Ogle Design. His portfolio inclused work for well-known brands such as Virgin Mobile, Mattell, Hasbro, Tomy and Speedo.

In 2005 Julian released his own line of timeless playthings that are just as much art pieces as they are high-quality toys. His designs are admired worldwide by adults and children alike for their bold aesthetic and functionality.

The Playforever product line consists of three timeless designs: Bruno Racer, Mimmo Aeroplane and Enzo Speedster. Each piece includes silently functioning rubber wheels, rounded corners and a minimalistic figure manning the driver’s seat or pilot’s chair. Each design demands admiration with their significant size (approximately 11” long x 5” high) and their eye-catching array of colors. They make a unique executive gift, a beautiful collector’s item or playful toy that you’ll enjoy seeing in your space.

Children find them easy to manipulate because of their large size and light weight. They are intended to be actual playthings, and as such are manufactured from an incredibly durable plastic, which can withstand much abuse. They show no signs of wear and tear after many hours of a child’s pretend play. Each design consists of only one solid piece, which mean there is nothing to lose and nothing to get strewn about. They truly can be played with, by all ages forever.

All of Playforever’s classic toys are brilliantly designed in London by Meagher and responsibly manufactured in Great Britain by Hyphen Design. They meet or exceed the highest global safety standards and have found much acclaim in both the toy industry and design world as exquisite toys.
